Workout Log 8/20/2012

So today was day 1 of Jillian Michael's 30 day shred.

Let me start off by saying, this girl is a BEAST!
I sweat pretty much.. everywhere.

There was a few times that I had to stop and catch my breath, because honestly I felt like my chest might explode, and I'd probably die.

It's been a long time since I've had my butt whooped by a DVD, let me tell ya. Or I'm just THAT out of shape. But let's face it, I did JUST have a baby 2 months ago, I can't expect to find this stuff easy.

I convinced my victim, ahem, friend, to do this workout with me. I couldn't very well suffer alone. 

It's always nice to know you're not alone in feeling like you've stared death in the face, and won. 

My legs are shaking, and I may not be able to walk tomorrow, but I pushed as hard as I possibly could.

In the words of Jillian, "If you want results in 30 days, you have to push. It doesn't come easy."

and my favorite motivation? 

"That knot in your stomach, that pain? That's fear leaving the body.."

Amen sister.
