Day 3!
I feel a teensy bit ashamed to admit that I had 0 motivation this morning.
Not so much because my body hurt, but just an overall fatigue thanks to ridiculous cramps. TMI? Sorry, but it's the truth!
Luckily this is where having an accountability partner is extremely beneficial. We discussed skipping today, then almost simultaneously turned on the DVD and decided no excuses, we're bringing it. We want those beach bodies, and we aren't going to get them by making excuses.
I struggled a bit more today than yesterday, but still pushed as hard as I could. To my 'want to quit' point; then beyond.
I had more issues with the cardio portions today, but my poor legs were just not game for all the jumping around. I know continuing to work through the pain will give the results I want, and eventually I'll hurt less and see more results.
Tomorrow will be better.
We've also decided to switch up the weekly routine a bit. Day 5 will be the P90X's Yoga X, and then we'll continue on day 6 back with Jillian. Our week will complete on day 7 with the P90X's Stretch X DVD, and a good long walk. I will be using the elliptical machine for my walk so I don't have to keep pace with my children. I'm definitely excited for day 5 to arrive, so there will be a nice change in our workout routine!
I'm using myfitnesspal to keep track of my calories, and so far hitting the mark. I try not to eat back the calories burned by working out, but still increase my intake allowance for breastfeeding. It's a great way to ensure I'm taking care of myself and getting the protein needed to build up muscle.
I'm getting there!
