Ahh, I've been slacking on updating!
Day 4 went amazingly well.. I woke up feeling MUCH better than I did on day 2 or day 3. I seemed to be able to complete more repetitions with ease, yet the cardio was still a bit rough.
Day 5 - NOTHING! I know I know, so early on to be skipping out on workouts! HOWEVER, I had 2 orientations for school for the kiddos, errands to run, and laundry. Crazy busy/tired all day and just couldn't fit it in.
Day 6 - ... NOTHING! Booooo.. I know, but again stayed incredibly busy getting things together for school to start, and basic house cleaning. Plus I got a rare opportunity to go out with a few friends, and I took it!
Day 7 - this was supposed to be the stretch day. That seemed pointless since I didn't complete the other days, so Day 8 will be a bright new start, and I will consider myself picking up at Day 5. No cheating here!
Day 8 - I didn't get Jillian in due to today being the first day of school! EJ only had a half day, so I felt like I was constantly making round trips to the school. After school was over, Miss T and EJ needed lots of attention, and in the early part of the day Punkin' was feeling incredibly left out and needed mommy time. - HOWEVER, today was not a complete loss! I did 20 minutes on the elliptical at a varying levels setting. Boy were my legs BURNING! I got my heart rate up, and certainly worked up a decent sweat! Now, this was no Jillian, but it's certainly better than nothing - and I was able to monitor the children while working out. Tomorrow it's back to Jillian, and working my butt off! I look forward to a serious burn!
