Day 2!
So this morning I was definitely questioning my ability to move. My legs haven't hurt this bad in ages. But no pain no gain right?
After a brief conversation with my workout buddy, we decided we would push through the pain and give it our all yet again.
My endurance was better, and I managed to keep up much better than even just yesterday. It's always nice to see change so quickly! Maybe not physically yet, but certainly in my push myself abilities.
There were still a few moves that I was unable to complete with the rest of the beasts of the DVD, but I did do my best. Dare to push play right? Well, no, that's p90x, however I'm not ready to start that again yet!
The side lunges with the weights being brought up to eye level KILLED my already pained shoulders. Who'd have thought that 6lbs of weight would cause so much resistance!
My legs are again shaking, and I'm super pathetic when it comes to stairs and can't quite manage to will my body down gently. Using the bathroom is dreaded currently, and so is needing to crouch at all.. but a few more days and some of the pain will subside, and I'll be ready for level 2.
Change is happening!
Tomorrow I will attempt to bring it again, provided I can walk. Even if I'm gimpy I'll do my absolute best. There really is no quick change without pushing.
