Step 2 complete!

As before I took a "pre step 3" picture. I was almost worried because it said that after this step they'll be shiny, and they were... until they dried, then they were super soft and smooth, but alas most of the shine went away.. Luckily upon reading the instructions a bit farther - and more in depth - Only after step FOUR will they be super shiny when dry.

So A+ for mom not messing up Miss T's rock tumbling project.

This is a neat "craft" we're doing.. I'm really glad I get to be a part of this! She was again excited to see the difference in the rocks today, however she was still not thrilled they have to go back into the barrel for another 3 days. So Monday evening or Tuesday afternoon we'll start step 4!

I'm really hoping the reviews for this thing aren't all that common. Most everyone complains about the noise, and yes, I can see why.. But a LOT of people also deal with their tumbler barrels breaking, or the motor to stop working. I really hope that doesn't happen to Miss T's tumbler, because we have another batch of "special" rocks, and then she wanted to FIND rocks to tumble. Which I think would be REALLY fun!

Maybe they're putting too many in at a time, causing too much stress/weight?

Augh, who knows. I know I'm starting to see funny due to having been up all night with the little one, so I'm going to discontinue blogging for the time being, and go make dinner!

'Till next time!
